I stumbled across this lovely entryway via A Cup of Jo a little while ago and instantly fell in love. For me, the haphazard placement of hooks of various shapes and sizes creates a comfortable and cozy vibe. It's the wall hanging equivalent of messy-ing up a room just enough so that your guests feel comfortable sitting on the furniture. I've been thinking of trying to recreate this look in my own home using vintage hooks. Here are a few options that would fit the bill nicely:

I LOVE it! All those random hooks. Makes you wonder where they're from...and what they've held in their 'lives'.
Makes organizing look like art. I love it. Now I am going to have to keep an eye out for great vintage hooks!
how fantastic! I love the look. I'd start collecting hooks to recreate this as well if the husband wouldn't disagree.. he hates any chaos, even if it's organized and beautiful.
